For Granny Square Day 2021 I decided to make a pattern inspired by the lotus flower.
Lotus is considered to be a flower of purity and carries the meaning of “rebirth” as they grows in muddy water yet breaks the water’s surface/rises above water to bloom spreading its sweet scent.
